Last Saturday I performed a half hour set for Ladderframe Theatre Collective at their Big Women show. I’ve never felt more comfortable and confident on stage doing spoken word. It was such a buzz in the room! I had a great reaction from the crowd and some fantastic conversations afterward with people who connected with my work.
The BEST NEWS is that they are remounting the show at the Ballaarat Mechanics Institute on Saturday 13th March, and have invited me along again to do another half hour set of poetry. I would love to see your beautiful face in the crowd and share some poetry with you IN PERSON!! And meet you!

The newest local theatre company on the block, LadderFrame Theatre, is excited to remount its very first original show, “Big Women” at the BMI after premiering at Volta last week. Through a process of interviews, transcripts, workshops and interpretation of theatrical conventions, the cast and crew have created a dynamic theatrical piece that celebrates and uncovers the Big Stories of these “Big Women”.
Before the showcase will be a spoken word poetry performed by Megan J Riedl and live music acts.
